The BC Electrical Association now offers online courses!

Each course is created with a unique combination of multimedia elements, which may include high-impact videos, interactive games, dynamic animations, captivating graphics, voice-over audio, and probing questions designed to help engage trainees.

BCEA Education Program

Basic Electricity Course

Course modules include:

  • Introduction to Basic Electricity
  • Voltage Sources and Systems
  • Circuits (Part 1)
  • Circuits (Part 2)
  • Electrical Diagrams
  • Test Equipment
  • Basic Electrical Products
  • Wire and Cable
  • Lighting

This updated and redesigned course covers all the basics and is designed for those who want to take steps toward learning about the electrical industry. Recommendation is to start with Introduction to Basic Electricity Module, (not mandatory), then followed by selected or all modules.

All course modules are held at the new Training Room in the BCEA Office.
