Membership FAQ's


  • Who can join the BCEA?
    Any company or organization that depends upon the electrical industry in the province of British Columbia. This includes (but is not limited to) electrical contractors, manufacturers, distributors, testing labs, utilities, agents, associates, engineers and consultants.

  • What are the benefits of joining the BCEA?
    Please refer to our member benefits page for details on what the BCEA does for our members and the electrical industry.

  • What kind of events does the BCEA host?
    The BCEA hosts educational seminars, networking events that raise money for the scholarship program, breakfast meetings, trade shows, member forums, and much more. Please refer to our events calendar to see upcoming events.

  • Who has already joined the BCEA?
    Please refer to our member directory for a listing of BCEA members.

  • What are your membership policies?
    As a member, you are expected to abide by the BCEA By-Laws (PDF).

  • How much is membership?
    Please find below annual membership dues:

    Electrical Consultants / Engineers $350
    Electrical Contractors
    (Individual / Corporate)
    $500
    Electrical Distributors $750
    Electrical Manufacturers $750
    Electrical Manufacturer Agents $500
    Electrical Service & Testing $750
    Individual Membership - 1 year trial
    If your organization should decide to join the BCEA as a Corporate Member within your 12 month trial, the $100.00 fee will be applied towards their first year of membership.
