BCEA Education Program

Basic Electricity Course

Course modules include:

  • Introduction to Basic Electricity
  • Voltage Sources and Systems
  • Circuits (Part 1)
  • Circuits (Part 2)
  • Electrical Diagrams
  • Test Equipment
  • Basic Electrical Products
  • Wire and Cable
  • Lighting

This updated and redesigned course covers all the basics and is designed for those who want to take steps toward learning about the electrical industry. Recommendation is to start with Introduction to Basic Electricity Module, (not mandatory), then followed by selected or all modules.

All course modules are held at the new Training Room in the BCEA Office.

Automation Course

Objective: To provide a general overview of Electrical Automation applications and components.

This is a six hour course that covers the following topics:

  • Introduction
  • Automation Components
  • Networks
  • Summary

Course includes Product Demos. This module is part of the BCEA Basic Electricity Program.
